In my lifetime I have converted my record collection from records to cassette tapes, from cassette tapes to CDs, and from CDs to MP3s. Recently, for some reason iTunes can no longer find those MP3s on my laptop. So my wife introduced me to Amazon Music which she has been running on her computer at work.
So I checked it out. I found all the songs that I had saved as MP3s. When I finished listening to a song or album Amazon Music would play other songs based on what I had been listening to. After about a week of enjoying a lot of my favourite tunes I now have my own playlist station.
