At the end of the month my wife is doing journaling workshop for the members of our TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) club. It is a follow up to a program she presented a club meeting near the end of the year. As part of the workshop we are hosting a potluck luncheon.
Her plan is me to make soup and have the other members bring things to compliment the soup. So tonight for supper, I am doing a test run. I have chosen hamburger soup because it is one of the more healthy soup recipes that I have.
I told my wife that I wanted to make it at least once before preparing it for the club members. We have around 20 members so not only do I want to make sure it is tasty but that I will have enough to feed everyone.
I need to know if I will have to expand the recipe or not. So we are having soup for supper tonight, and I will likely have it for lunch the rest of the week.
