Timber!

We were starting to get a little embarrassed because our Christmas Tree will still standing in the middle of our living room.  My wife joked the other day, saying we had just left it up to celebrate Ukrainian Christmas as well.  But yesterday we finally bit the bullet.

The wreath was taken off the front door a week ago.  And most of the other decorations that were spread out around the apartment had been packed away.  Yet the tree still stood.

My wife has a tendency to pick more Christmas decorations on sale after the holiday.  Now this year, she did not buy that much; a couple of boxes of Christmas balls and the Nativity we inherited from my mother.  Yet she still had to stop on her way to work this morning and pick up another storage tub to get everything in.
