A Hot Hand

I thought we had turned the corner.  The sun felt warm and strong, but then we had a snow storm on Saturday.   And this morning when I walked the dog, we were back to the cold morning air.

I have now lived in the prairies for almost half my life.  So the cold weather no longer bothers me, I know I have to dress warm when I am heading out.  But there is one thing that I really hate.

In order to pick up after the dog, I have to take one of my gloves off to get the bag ready.  On these really cold days, my hand gets so cold it burns long after I get the glove back on.  Perhaps, I need to invest in a pair of those flip top mittens.
