As a child and a young man, I had what I will call a healthy appetite. However, as I am getting up in years that is no longer really the case. I cannot eat like I use to.
Recently, my wife and I have started planning our Thanksgiving dinner. We, at the moment, are going to be celebrating alone, so we agreed that a turkey breast from M&M will be much more appropriate for us than a full turkey. A full turkey would likely kept us fed until at least Halloween.
So I guess it is time to make some changes to how we prepare meals in our house. It started a year or so ago when we got a "food saver" system. Now we can break bigger packages of things like meat down into more appropriate portions.
Last week, I placed five library books on hold, so far I have gotten two. All of them are cookbooks designed for cooking for two people. Meals that once upon a time I would have eaten on my own.
