Today is my birthday. I am now 53 years old, although I started counting backwards at 50 and claim that today I turned 47. I have stuck with this silly little game because it annoys my wife.
When I was a kid, it would have been my day to go and check the mail and retrieve the 3 or 4 birthday cards from aunts, uncles, and grandparents. Today, I checked my Facebook page around 3 times and received 39 birthday greetings, I have also taken the time to reply and thank everyone for their birthday wishes. Once I have posted this I will go back to Facebook and post a final overall thank you note.
