My wife and I are making a focused effort to loose weight. One of the ways we are doing so is by eating less (obviously) and removing processed foods from our diet. This is having both a positive and negative effect on me.
I am loosing weight, I think, well at least I am feeling better. But I now have to go back and relearn how to regulate my insulin. Yesterday, I had three low blood sugar totals.
Which meant I had three spikes as well. I get low, I get shaky and my stomach gets upset, and I panic. So I eat and drink anything I can find till the feeling passes, and then I spike.
Tomorrow we are going to see our doctor to discuss our weight loss goals. I plan to discuss insulin management with him as well. This roller coaster is not a fun ride at all.
