Last night my wife and I left the dog at home and went out for a date night dinner. It was an enjoyable meal with enjoyable company, but still I experienced something new and different. I was unable to finish my supper.
Those who know me know that I have always had, let's say, a healthy appetite. However, last's night's dinner, a meal that I have eaten all of many times before, was just a little bit to much. I guess that I have reached that point in my life where less is enough.
In passing, shout out to the staff at East Side Mario's in St. Albert, Alberta. Last night, 7:00 PM on a Thursday night, they were slammed ( I saw at least 3 tables of 8+ people and the patio was completely full) and understaffed. Yet, they still managed to provide excellent service and excellent food.
