Grilling Up The Farm

A few years ago my wife and I discovered the Serben Farms Store an hour or so north of the city.  We stumbled across this hidden gem because they promoted an open house.  We thought it would make for a nice Sunday drive.

Now we make regular runs up to the store throughout the spring, summer, and fall.  We do not like to make the run up the highway in the winter.  But we make sure to stock up so we do not miss out.

This weekend I have put farm fresh meat on the BBQ twice.  On Saturday night, we had delicious, juicy hamburgers.  Tonight, it was melt in your mouth steaks.

We have found that Serben Farms is well worth the drive.  They offer a nice variety including meat, pies (both of the meat and fruit variety), and fresh vegetables in season.  Oh and for the summer they also have ice cream.
