We are 10 days away from taking possession of our Condo, and around 7 weeks away from moving day. That will give us 6 weeks to paint and do the few minor repairs that need to be done before we move in. It feels like a long time, but when we get in there and start working, I am sure it will fly by.
My wife is becoming a regular at Lowe's, Home Depot, and the like. I would not be surprised if she isn't greeted by name fairly soon. The coffee table is covered with flooring, paint chips, and counter top samples.
We have started talking about what we can move over to the new place as we work. The first thing to be moved will be all of our laundry supplies. No sense adding more money to the laundry card here when I have a washer and dryer there.
