Valentine's Propoganda.

Well, Groundhog's day has come and gone.  I believe that he saw his shadow, which means that it is about a week and a half until St. Valentine's Day.  Not that the stores haven't had their merchandise out since just after Christmas.

So once again the propaganda blitz has started.  During sporting events, sit coms, and even cartoon I am being reminded that I need to buy my wife diamonds, flowers, and chocolates.  So I decided to share some of the slogans that I like the best.

• A diamond is forever.

• For all of life's celebrations.

• Every kiss begins with Kay.

• Creating messages of magnificence.

And my personal favourite:

• Getting rid of headaches since 1888.

Now, while I do not mind the bombardment I am facing, I think that fair is fair.  Why is my wife not facing a similar onslaught during her DIY, home renovation, and real estate shows.  Why is EBGames not running ads telling her to buy me an X-Box or Playstation.

I even have the perfect advertising slogan for them:

• The X-Box One that will get him out of your hair for a while!
