Playoff Weather

Oh the weather outside is frightful.  Looking at the forecast for the next five days, we have 3 days of snow and two days of mixed precipitation.

The title to today's post was my wife's response when I told her what the forecast was.  I am not sure if I am more impressed or proud that was her reply.

This weekend wraps up the CFL (Canadian Football League) regular season, and the playoffs start next weekend.  So she is right, it is playoff weather.

I will always remember a punter, talking about the weather conditions, when I was younger.  He said that it was so cold each time he punted the ball it was like dropping a cinder block on his foot.

And of course, there are images of last year's Grey Cup (League Championship Game) hosted by Ottawa.  The game played out in a backdrop of beautifully falling snow.
