Beginning To Feel Like Christmas

Yes, I realize that today is only Halloween and we have well over a month left until Christmas time.  However, the signs are starting to appear.  And I do not mean the aisles full of Christmas stuff already in stores.

Yesterday, my wife decided it was a good day to bake cookies.  I think that this was a precursor to her annual Christmas baking frenzy.  A test run, if you will.

Today, the weather has become more Christmas like.  I took the dog for his morning stroll in the snow.  Of course, it is Halloween in the north, so snow is kind of expected.

Now, I am not one who likes that the Christmas season seems to get pushed earlier and earlier.  I certainly do not like that stores have one side of the aisle with Halloween decorations , and the other side with Christmas decorations.  On the other hand, I do like the delicious cookies that my wife made yesterday, and will start baking in bulk very shortly.
