Sometimes You Need A Boost

Our dog is starting to get older.  Actually he is now six, so I guess he is only middle aged. Recently he seems to be off his food, or so we thought.

He would grab a mouthful and come lay in the living room to eat it. So, he would eat his supper, eventually one mouthful at a time. This past week, we made a change in his dinner time routine.

He now gets his dinner in the living room. He lays down and I put his bowl between his front paws.  This change has put him back on his food.

So my wife and I are thinking it is time to buy the dog a stand to raise his bowls up. Then we can get him back on his regular routine and eating in the kitchen.  It will also make it a lot easier when I am vacuuming  the living room.
