Chirstmas Is Gone

Christmas has been lingering around our house this year.  No, we don't still have our tree up.  We actually took everything down over the first weekend of January.

However, before everything could be packed away, my wife had to go and buy a couple of new tubs.  I did not realize that we had accumulated that much more Christmas "crap" since we started decorating at the end of November.  But it finally did all get packed away.

Then it sat.  Yes, we have planned to take the trip to the storage locker many times this month, but always found an excuse not to.  So seven tubs and a Christmas tree box sat in the living room.

Yesterday, we finally took half of it back to the storage locker.  We could only take half because we had to have room to take the dog for a ride.  This morning, we finished the job and took what was left back.

To tell the truth I am very glad to see the Christmas tubs finally go.  They were piled up along my desk and it made it very hard to sit down and get up.  Now they are nicely stacked in the storage locker, at least until we have to go dig something else out.
