Fajitas With Flair Follow-up

My experiments with this recipe were a resounding success.  The strained tomatoes made for a slightly thicker "sauce".  By adding the seasoning to the mixture, I got a nice even flavour throughout the whole dish.

I did have one additional experiment that I tried during the cooking procedure. The original recipe suggests serving rice as a side.  For this meal, I added a package of Uncle Ben's precooked rice to the crockpot, which soaked up all the remaining sauce, added some filler, and meant less waste at the end of the meal.
