I have accumulated at least twenty cookbooks over the past twenty years. I do not think I have bought any of them. They have been birthday presents, Christmas gifts, and the odd one my wife has found in the community book exchange.
I do not keep any of these cookbooks in my kitchen. In fact, they are all on a shelf in my wife's craft room. There is at least one recipe in each book that I will pull them off the shelf for.
However, most of the time, I get the majority of my recipes from the internet. I receive 4 recipes, by e-mail, daily from Kraft. I have plenty that I have found via pinterest as well.
But the greatest cookbook at my disposal is Google. All you have to do is type in what ingredients you have on hand and you have thousands of recipes to choose from. Print it off and there is dinner.
I have an old laptop that I may un-retire and leave on a kitchen counter. That way I do not have to waste the paper and Ink each time I find a recipe I like. A few bookmark folders and I have the my own personalized cookbook.
