In late October or early November of 2017, I told my father that I had considered flying home for my mother's 75th birthday on the 25th of November but that my wife and I had decided to drive out together in the summer for a longer visit. On the 27th of April, 2018 my mother passed away and instead of coming east for a visit we came to celebrate her memorial. Today, November 25th 2022 would have been her 80th birthday.
So here is a little tribute
