Changing The Chores

When we lived downstairs in our 1 bedroom apartment, chores were pretty easy to divvy up.  I had 4 days of housework and 4 rooms to clean.  So each day, I did general cleaning for most of the apartment and gave 1 room a good cleaning.

Well now that we are in a 2 bedroom apartment and things don't work out quite as nicely.  I still have 4 days to do housework, but now I have 5 rooms to clean.  So I have decided it is time to change they way I divide up my chores.

So the new schedule is going to look something like this...

• Tuesday - Vacuum carpets and sweep and mop the floors.

•  Wednesday - Dust everything that needs dusting (living room, and 2 bedrooms)

• Thursday - Clean counter tops, tub, etc

• Friday - Back to vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping.

So now instead of a room a day it is a chore a day so that on the weekend we can play.
