Animal Count

Over the long weekend, my wife and I went to visit family.  Our journey took us through Jasper National Park and Mt. Robson Provincial Park.  We hoped that we would get to see some cool animals.

We lucked out.  On the way there we saw:

1. a herd (we decided it sounded more masculine than flock) of long horned sheep
2. 2 moose
3. 2 bears (seen independent of each other)

On the way home we did not see as many animals, but did get to see a Mama bear and 2 cubs walking along the side of the road.  

In all cases we decided it was best to point at them out the window and leave it at that.
