Frozen Art

I was disappointed when I woke up on Friday to discover that winter had returned in full force.  I am tired of winter.  I am tired of the cold and darkness.  I am ready for some warm sunshine.

Well, at least I thought I was done with winter until I opened my e-mail this weekend.  My mother-in-law likes to forward jokes and other little tidbits.  Sometimes they are funny, sometimes they are entertaining, and other times they are informative.

This weekend she sent me something that made me hope winter would linger on just a little longer. Soap bubbles blown in freezing temperatures turn into stunning ice crystals.  Temperatures between -9 and –12C (10F - 16F) are ideal for creating the ice bubbles.
