Forgotten Images

Our Church's annual dinner is coming up shortly.  I think it is one of the year's most anticipated events, right up there with our choir's cabaret night.  The theme is the 1960's.

Every year people come dressed in their finest 60's garb.  This year the idea was suggested to have everyone submit photos of themselves from the 60's to add to the festivities.  The photos will be put together in a computer program and shown throughout the evening up on the big screen.

By the end of the 1960's I was all of 6 months old.  One may think that there were not that many pictures of me to begin with.  On the contrary, on my Father's side of the family, I am the first son of the first son, the continuation of the family line.

I mentioned the photo submission idea to my Father.  I asked if he could e-mail me a few photos so I could select one I liked best.  He told me that no, he could not because, all of the pictures of me from that time are on slides.  He said "That was how you took pictures back then."
