On Saturday, I tried a very nice recipe for roast beef, sort of a take on the Coca-Cola pork chops that have become one of my Father's go-to recipes. I think that it is going to be a very flexible recipe. We had it as sandwiches with an au jus, but it could have easily been shredded and mixed with the sauce, or served as a traditional roast beef dinner.
Ingredients:
- 1 beef roast
- 1 Can Coca-Cola
- 2 Cans cream of mushroom soup
- 1 package of dry onion soup mix
Directions:
- Place roast in pan.
- Mix all other ingredients together and pour over roast.
- Cover tightly with foil and bake at 325 degrees for about 3-4 hours.
