I choose the recipes I post here on my blog because they are ones that I either like or would like to try. It does not matter if I find it on Facebook, Pinterest, television shows like Diners, Drive Ins & Dives, or as always Kraft. On wednesday, I made the apple cinnamon porkloin.
A while back My wife wanted to make pulled pork. However, she bought the porkloin at Costco, so I had two more to deal with. So one down and one to go.
I had to make a few alterations to the recipe. The original recipe calls for a 3 pound porkloin, I was lucky if mine was 1.5 pounds. So that meant much less honey, cinnamon, and apple.
The roast had a very nice cinnamon and apple aftertaste. I served it with homemade french fries, finally getting to use my Epicure potato wedger. It must have been a keeper, because we ate most of it in one sitting (but it was only 1.5 pounds after all).
