Another camping season is coming to an end. Sadly, my wife and I did not make it out as many times as we would have liked this summer. Though with the proper preparations we may be able to get one more weekend in before everything shuts down for the winter.
I would not say that we rough it when we camp. We have a huge tent, a dining shelter, a cool chuck box, and a camp kitchen stand. Despite tenting it, we, also, always get a site with power.
Recently I was introduced to a new form of camping...glamping. Glamping is a portmanteau of glamour and camping and describes a style of camping with amenities and, in some cases, resort-style services not usually associated with "traditional" camping.
As I said, my wife and I do not rough it, but by no means are we glamping either. I am not sure we could. We have a hard enough time fitting the stuff we currently take into the car.
