Rescheduling And Conflicts Abound

I have removed the Potluck Poll from my blog.  Not due to a lack of interest or involvement, although at last count there were a grand total of three votes.  I took it down because I will no longer be attending the first Choir of the BBQ.

If you will pardon the pun, my plate is just too full. A second and third social engagement both popped up on the same day.  A CD release concert and our dog's therapy pre-screen date.

When the CD release concert was announced, I was disappointed.  It is an event that I would love to attend.  Yet, if asked, I must admit that my loyalty is to the church choir, so I was potluck bound.  But, I know enough people singing in the release concert that I can hopefully still get the CD at the discounted price.

But last night I received an e-mail stating that the pre-screening date for pet therapy dogs has been changed to that day as well.  We were putting this off for the past two months to accommodate my wife's work schedule.  If we do not attend, it means that we will have to wait until Fall to get our dog certified.

I would love to attend the CD release party.  I would also love to sit back and enjoy the company of my choir friends.  But making people smile when my dog visits as a therapy dog is too much to pass up.
