The best way to describe the event would be a household farmer's market, everything from Tupperware to Toys. There were 20 vendors in total. Sadly, as a male, there was not much that caught my eye; as the event, at least I would say, was primarily focused on women.
I spent the majority of our time there at the Epicure table. Not only was it my friend's table, but as it was focused on cooking it was something that interested me. My wife, on the other hand, made the rounds to look at all the vendors, but spent most of her time at the scrapbooking table.
As we were getting ready to go, I spotted the Pampered Chef table. Another cooking based company (obviously with a name like that) that focused more on gadgets. There was a "slap" food processor that looked kind of cool.
As we were leaving, I told my wife, I would like to go back later to look at that table more closely. She told me no, we had to many other jobs to get done that afternoon. Oh well, I have the website so I can always pick it up online.
Now I am not sure if it is because my wife knows how much I like some of the Epicure stuff, or because it is my friend that is selling it. But she said on the car ride home that we could probably budget about $50.00 a month to spend. This morning I went through 1 of the 2 catalogues I got on Saturday, and have about 8 months worth of orders ready to go.
