Home

Our journey is over, we have made it back home.  It was three and a half long days of driving.  We had a great adventure, but I think everyone is happy to get home.  The dog, for example, did not leave our bed once we got home.  At one point, while my wife took a turn driving, my mind started to wander.  I was tired and silly thoughts were starting to pop into my head.  I started thinking of quotes about home, and could only come up with the two that we all know.

"Every Man's home is his castle" and "Home is where the heart is"

So for a bit of Friday fun, I have found a few quotes about home that kind of sum up our holiday.

"Home is where one starts from"
T. S. Eliot

"Where we love is home - home that our feet may leave, but not our hearts"
Oliver Wendell Holmes, Sr.

"Human beings are the only creatures on earth that allow their children to come back home"
Bill Cosby

“How often have I lain beneath rain on a strange roof, thinking of home”
William Faulkner
