Ingredients:
- 1 pound fresh green beans
- 3 tbsp. olive oil
- 2 tbsp. white wine vinegar
- 2 garlic cloves, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
- Wash and snap green beans.
- Pour 2 inches of water into a large pot and boil.
- Add green beans, in a steamer basket, let steam approximately 10 minutes.
- While beans are steaming, mix together oil, vinegar, garlic, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Once beans are done, add to mixture and toss using tongs to coat the beans.
- Add parmesan cheese and toss lightly.
- Cover and let rest for 5 - 10 minutes.
- Remove garlic slices before serving.
