Ingredients:
- 1/4 cup Kraft Zesty Italian Dressing
- 1 lb. beef simmer steak (blade, brisket or cross rib), cut into 4 pieces
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1/4 cup tomato paste
- 1 can diced tomatoes, undrained
- 1/4 cup 25%-less-sodium beef broth
- 1 green pepper, chopped
- 1/2 cup shredded Swiss cheese
Directions:
- Heat dressing in large nonstick skillet on medium-high heat.
- Meanwhile, coat meat with flour; gently shake off excess.
- Add meat to skillet; cook 2 to 3 min. on each side or until browned on both sides.
- Remove from heat.
- Combine tomato paste, tomatoes and broth in slow cooker.
- Add meat and peppers; cover with lid.
- Cook on LOW 8 to 10 hours (or on HIGH 3 to 4 hours).
- Top with cheese just before serving.
