Three Shades Of Clean

I realize that I am a little late with this reference.  50 Shades isn't even in the most viewed on Pay-Per-View anymore. However, I am going to ride on the coattails of popular culture.

I have three different levels when I am doing housework.  They are clean, tidy, and straighten. Basically, it depends on how much effort I want, or needs, to be put in.

Cleaning is all out dusting, sweeping and mopping.  I move all the furniture and knick knacks and get into every nook and cranny.  I try to do this to one room each day of the week.

Tidying is dusting and sweeping.  I don't move anything.  This is what I do in order to just maintain our house.

Finally, I straighten, which is just sweeping.  I straighten up the pillows on the couch, make the bed, and do the dishes.  This is what usually happens to every other room I am not cleaning on a daily basis.
