Crock Pot Beef Tips

Many (many, many) years ago, in my youth, I enjoyed eating at the Ponderosa Restaurant.  At the time, we had to cross the border as it no longer existed in Canada.  In addition to the wonderful spread they put out on the buffet, I remember the beef tips.

I came across this recipe, posted on Facebook by a Friend.  I guess it made me a little nostalgic for those trips across the bridge.  I think this may well be what we are having this Sunday for dinner.

Ingredients:
  • 2 lb. stew meat, 
  • 1 can cream of mushroom, 
  • 1 packet brown gravy mix, 
  • 1 packet lipton dry onion soup mix, 
  • 1small can mushrooms, 
  • 1 cup water

Directions:
  • Place meat in crock pot.
  • Mix all ingredients and pour over the meat.
  • Set to low for the day. 
  • Serve over potatoes, noodles or rice!
