Monday Adventures

I seem to have fallen off my typical posting schedule over the last week or so.  Normally, I try to post on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.  My last post was a Thursday, when I posted my Wednesday recipe a day late.

I do have a partially finished draft for last Friday's post.  Hopefully I can get it finished for this coming Friday.  Today may replace Monday as a regular posting day because of a decision my wife and I have made.

My wife works Tuesday to Friday, 10 hours a day giving her Mondays off.  We have decided to make this our adventure day.  In addition to being the middle day of any camping trips, it is going to be our daytrip day.

So far we have seen the world's largest polish sausage and Ukrainian Easter Egg, made use of a couple of our provincial parks, and drove through a town my wife thinks would be an ideal place to retire.

I am currently scouting out a few more potential adventures, including going to visit the world's largest pierogi.  There are also one or two we will be revisiting, but will be leaving the dog at home. All in all it is just fun to get out of the city and go explore.
