I write this blog because it was something I know about and enjoy. I started writing it because it was fun.  Sure I wanted to be informative and entertaining, but truth be told I was willing to settle for entertaining.  I set no expectations and figured if nobody was interested, at least I had enjoyed the experience.

However people were interested.  All over the world in fact.  Who knew that a man talking about cooking and cleaning would hit it so big in South Africa.

Over the past month or so, as I have watched the blog's views continue to rise, I said to my wife...I want to have 2500 views in the first year.  Today, two weeks (and a bit) before the one year anniversary, Domesticated House Husband sits at a grand total of 2512.

Recently, I expanded the "Domesticated House Husband" name.  I created and purchased business cards from Vistaprint.  As I have mentioned before, I used the same design for the banner at the top of my blog.  Yesterday, I used those same business cards for the purpose I intended.  To proudly display the name of a dish taken to a pot-luck luncheon.

Thank you all to each and every person that has taken a moment to view this blog. A special thanks to those that return again and again and to let me inform and entertain you, or at least entertain you.
