An apartment has come available in the building next door to ours. I think it may be a little smaller, but it is well maintained. There is a caretaker on site who plants flowers every summer and keeps everything clean and neat. Our building's "resident" manager, on the other hand, is responsible for at least 5 buildings and I am not sure if he lives in any of them.
We are thinking seriously about moving and getting away from our current management company. We have had our eye on this building for a while now, and have had some serious discussions about it over the last day or so since we saw the vacancy sign.
Well you never know unless you ask right? So I guess I am off to make a phone call.
