Spring has finally sprung here. One day it just starts to get warm and almost magically all the trees and bushes become green.
Today, I want to share a spring art project that a friend of mine posted on Facebook. Unlike my wife, who has turned our second bedroom into a shrine to her crafty arts, I do not have the interest or patience to do craft work. Nor do I have small children to entertain.
So why am I writing a post about an art project to share with your children. To be perfectly honest, I thought it looked cool and fun.

What you need:
- 3 pronged fork
- Paint
- Brushes
What to do:
- Using the 3 pronged fork press firmly into the paint while making sure both the prongs and the base get paint.
- While printing use a 2 step motion, first to get the tines of the fork printed, then the base printed to complete the tulip.
- Once the garden is printed using forks, draw the stems and leaves using green acrylic paint.
The end result reminds me of the painting that I love, hanging in my wife's crafty shrine, done for me by my nephew with Hot Wheels Cars in nursery school.
Here is the origninal blog, that the Facebook posting came from...Blog Me Mom
